Evan's Anthias is a striking deep-red fish with delicate fin accents, prized for its vibrant coloring and active swimming behavior. This specimen displays excellent health and natural patterns characteristic of quality WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) livestock. The individual shown measures approximately 2.5 inches and will grow to a mature size of around 5 inches.

It requires an established reef aquarium of at least 100 gallons with plenty of swimming space and hiding spots among live rock and coral. This is an expert-level fish demanding stable water parameters, consistent feeding, and careful acclimation. It thrives on a varied diet of small frozen foods like mysis shrimp and copepods, fed multiple times daily. While peaceful toward most tankmates, it may compete aggressively with similar anthias species.

Best kept singly or as part of a carefully planned community. Acclimate slowly using a drip method over 2-3 hours to minimize stress and ensure successful establishment in your aquarium.
