The Golden Damselfish (Amblyglyphidodon aureus) brings a vivid wash of golden yellow to the marine aquarium. Its streamlined, laterally compressed body and neatly defined fins give it an elegant profile as it moves through the water, making this colorful damselfish an eye-catching addition to a suitable setup. A hardy choice for beginner aquarists, this species is reef compatible and does well in an established aquarium with room to swim and places to retreat. It can be semi-aggressive, particularly around territory, so thoughtful tankmate selection and adequate space are important. Its lively presence and brilliant coloration make it a striking centerpiece among peaceful, compatible marine fish.
