The Green Coris Wrasse is a vibrant, active fish prized for its striking coloration and engaging personality. Named scientifically as Halichoeres chloropterus, this species displays beautiful green and yellow hues that intensify with maturity.

This intermediate-level fish thrives in reef environments with caution, as it may nip at smaller invertebrates and corals. Its peaceful disposition makes it an excellent addition to community tanks, though it requires plenty of swimming space and hiding spots among rocks and coral structures.

Known for its curious and energetic behavior, the Green Coris Wrasse spends its day foraging along the substrate, hunting small crustaceans and feeding on parasites from other fish. This natural cleaning behavior contributes to tank health while providing entertainment.

Feeding is straightforward — they readily accept high-quality flaked foods, frozen mysis shrimp, and small pellets. Provide a varied diet to maintain their vibrant coloring and overall health.
