As a peaceful reef inhabitant, it thrives in established tanks with plenty of rockwork and algae to forage. The radiata urchin helps maintain tank balance by consuming excess algae and detritus. With proper care and a minimum 50-gallon setup, this urchin can grow to approximately 8 inches and become a long-lived addition to your aquarium.
