Min. Tank Size - 30 gallons
Mature Size - 4.5 inches

This WYSIWYG specimen is approximately 2.5 inches long. Valentini Toby Pufferfish are compact, alert swimmers with bold contrasting bands and spots that make them an eye-catching addition to a suitable marine aquarium. Their curious nature and active foraging can make them engaging to observe.

Provide a stable, well-established aquarium with plenty of swimming room and areas to explore. This semi-aggressive puffer may nip at tankmates and is not considered reef compatible, so choose companions and aquarium inhabitants with care. Offer an appropriate varied diet, including hard-shelled foods when suitable, to support natural feeding behavior and beak wear. As with other puffers, avoid handling the fish and use care during acclimation and maintenance.
