The Yellow Polka Dot Boxfish is a striking and unique addition to advanced aquariums. This specimen displays the characteristic bright yellow coloration with distinctive black polka dots that make it instantly recognizable.

Native to reef environments, this boxfish requires expert-level care and thrives best in established tanks of at least 100 gallons. It reaches approximately 18 inches at maturity and maintains a peaceful temperament, making it suitable for community aquariums when kept with compatible species.

While generally reef-compatible, caution is advised as boxfish can release toxins when stressed. Provide plenty of hiding spaces, stable water conditions, and a varied diet of small crustaceans and quality prepared foods. This specimen is best suited for experienced aquarists who can meet its specific environmental and dietary requirements.
