The Yellow Purple Wrasse is a vibrant addition to established reef aquariums, displaying striking yellow and purple coloration that intensifies with maturity. This peaceful wrasse thrives in tanks of at least 50 gallons with plenty of live rock for hiding and foraging. Known for its active, curious behavior, it spends much of its day searching the substrate for small crustaceans and food particles, making it an excellent natural cleanup helper. Best kept singly or with other peaceful fish, this intermediate-care species prefers a varied diet of quality frozen foods and small live prey.
